Overview

A closer look at your care.

A child's visual system is still developing, and problems caught early are far easier to treat than those found later. We have cared for children since 1999, with a calm, patient and child-friendly approach that puts both little ones and anxious parents at ease.

From a first vision screening to glasses, lazy eye (amblyopia) treatment and the assessment and management of squint, we look after the full range of children's eye needs, and we explain everything clearly so families know exactly what is happening and why.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

If there is no concern, a check before starting school is sensible. But at any age, if you notice a squint, head tilt or difficulty seeing, bring your child in sooner.

Often yes, especially when treated young. Glasses and patching the stronger eye encourage the weaker eye to develop, with the best results in early childhood.

Some newborn squints settle, but a squint that persists beyond a few months should always be assessed, as early treatment protects vision and alignment.
